Music League Wrapped: Your Whole Season on One Page

A Music League season ends quietly. The last round's votes come in, someone posts the final leaderboard in the group chat, a couple of people say "gg", and that's it. Months of picks and petty grudges, and the only thing anyone remembers a week later is who came first.

Wrapped is for that moment. Once your league is finished, it puts the whole season on one page, Spotify Wrapped style, and it's built to be dropped straight into the group chat.

What's in it

There are four sections.

The Numbers is the headcount: rounds played, competitors, songs submitted, votes cast. It counts dropouts too, so everyone can see how many people quietly stopped turning up halfway through. If nobody did, it says so.

The Champions has the league winner and their points total, the Song of the Season, and the Most Picked Artist (the one your group kept going back to whatever the theme was). It also has the Most Hated Song, which is the lowest-scoring submission of the season. The name of whoever submitted it is printed right underneath.

The Awards is where the arguments start. The titles come from the rest of the stats on the site:

  • The Superfan, who gave one player more points than anyone else gave anyone
  • The Nemesis, who gave one player the fewest
  • The Contrarian, whose favourite picks scored lowest with everyone else
  • Most Generous Voter, and Most Eager for whoever's always first in
  • Most In Common, your league's closest taste twins, with a percentage match
  • Most Divisive Pick, the song people either loved or couldn't stand
  • The Broken Record and The Shakespeare (or The Rap God), based on lyrics
  • Genre of the Season

The Journey is how the season actually played out. The Biggest Riser and Biggest Faller show where they started and where they ended up. The Closest Round is the one decided by a point or two, and the Biggest Blowout is the one where a single submission ran away with it. It's the most interesting section. The final leaderboard can't tell you that the winner spent the first month in eighth place.

Only once the season's over

Wrapped unlocks when every round in the league has been voted on. A Song of the Season with three rounds still to go would just be a guess. Upload a fresh export after the final round closes and the page fills in.

Some cards need enough data behind them to show up. A league without lyrics coverage won't get a Broken Record. And in a very small league, the Song of the Season can also be the lowest scorer, so in that case the Most Hated Song card is dropped rather than contradicting itself.

Sharing it

There's a Share this Wrapped button at the top of the page. It makes a public link that lasts 30 days, and anyone in your group can open it without an account. They see exactly the same cards you do. Post it in the group chat and wait.

Wrapped across all your leagues

If your group has played a few seasons, the cross-league view has a combined Wrapped as well. It builds one all-time recap from every league you've uploaded. You get total rounds and votes, an all-time champion along with how many leagues they played, the All-Time Song and the All-Time Genre, and every award worked out over your whole history.

The Journey cards name the league each moment came from, so you'll know which season the famous collapse happened in. The combined version waits until all your uploaded leagues are finished, and lists any that still have rounds to go.

One season can be a fluke. If someone is The Contrarian across four leagues, that's just how they vote.

Wrapped is a premium feature. Once your season's done, upload your Music League export and find out who your group's real Nemesis was.
